After losing three pregnancies, doctors kept telling me that everything was fine. “It’s just bad luck,” they said. “You just need to keep trying again and again.” In my despair, I found myself drawn into the world of nutrition, epigenetics, and functional medicine. I enrolled in a three-year program at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. The training opened my eyes to the incredible inner world of the human body. My husband and I changed our diet and lifestyle, and began using supplements and herbs tailored to our genetics — and then the long-awaited miracle happened. I received my diploma while eight months pregnant. One month later, our healthy and beautiful son Francesco was born. Even during my college practice, I knew I wanted to help women be healthy and have the chance to hold their own little bundle of joy. Each time it happens again, my heart fills with happiness. I am deeply grateful to every woman who has placed her trust in me.
