Nutrinomist vs Healthie
Healthie is a US platform with a certified EHR, insurance billing and enterprise options. Nutrinomist is built for independent practitioners with clients in many languages: a free plan to start, 13 client languages, and AI notes from video calls included in Pro.
The honest summary
For a US clinic that bills insurance, prescribes or needs a certified EHR, Healthie is the safer choice. For a solo or small practice whose clients don't all read English, that wants to start free and keep AI notes inside the plan price, Nutrinomist fits better.
Choose Nutrinomist if
- Your clients should read forms and the portal in their own language, in any of 13.
- You want to start on a free plan, then grow into a paid one with the client portal and chat.
- You want AI notes from video calls and an AI assistant connection in the plan, without add-ons.
Choose Healthie if
- You bill US insurance: superbills, CMS-1500 claims and clearinghouse integrations.
- You need a certified EHR, ePrescribing or lab ordering through US labs.
- Your clients log meals against a large food database, or you sync wearables.

Key differences
Built for different practices
Healthie's strengths are US clinical workflows: an ONC-certified EHR, HITRUST and SOC 2 certifications, insurance claims, ePrescribing and lab ordering. Nutrinomist does none of that. It concentrates on the client side of a nutrition practice: forms, the portal, chat, video calls and AI notes.
Your clients' language
Healthie doesn't translate its interface; its help center suggests a browser translation tool. In Nutrinomist each client has a language, and the portal, forms and your personal page appear in it, in any of 13. From Starter, AI translates a form for you.
What the entry price includes
Healthie starts at $19.99 a month for 10 active clients and has no free plan. Nutrinomist Free covers 5 active clients with your page, forms and payments, and Starter covers 25 for €29 a month, with the client portal, chat, video calls and 3 AI meeting summaries a month.
AI notes and AI assistants
Healthie's AI Charting is an add-on for Plus and up, at $35 a month for 40 hours. Nutrinomist includes recording, transcripts and AI journal summaries in Pro and Team under fair use, and lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants read your clients, chats, journal, calendar and forms over MCP. Healthie's MCP tool is meant for developers building on its API.
Switching from Healthie
Healthie lets you export your client list as a CSV file, and chart notes, documents and forms as PDFs. Nutrinomist has no automatic import yet, so most practitioners move over gradually:
- Start on the Free plan and set up your personal page and packages.
- Rebuild your intake forms: from Starter, upload a PDF of a form, or describe it, and AI drafts it.
- Invite active clients to the portal as they rebook, each in their own language.
- Keep your Healthie exports for older chart notes, and connect Google Calendar so bookings don't clash while you use both.
