Nutrinomist vs spreadsheets
Spreadsheets, a form tool, WhatsApp, Zoom and payment links can run a practice, as long as you copy everything between them. Here's what changes when forms, chat, video notes and payments share one client record.
The honest summary
A DIY stack costs little in fees and a lot in evenings. Once you have more than a handful of active clients, keeping forms, notes, chat, video calls and payments in one client record saves the copying. The Free plan lets you try it with up to 5 clients first.
Choose Nutrinomist if
- You copy answers, notes and payments between apps after every consultation.
- Your clients get links to several tools and ask which one to use.
- You'd like to start free and pay only once the practice grows.
Keep your current tools if
- You see a few clients a month and your current setup takes little time.
- You need something Nutrinomist doesn't do, such as insurance billing or a client food diary.

Key differences
One client record
Forms, chat, video notes, worksheets and payments land on the same client card, so there's no searching five apps before a consultation.
Notes you don't type
Record a video call and get a transcript and an editable journal summary: 3 a month on Starter, unlimited under fair use on Pro and Team. With a DIY stack you write them yourself.
One place for your clients
Clients get one portal, in their own language, with chat, forms, video calls and payments, instead of links to several tools.
Moving off spreadsheets
There's nothing to migrate in one go. Start with new clients and move the others as they come back:
- Start on the Free plan and set up your personal page and packages.
- Rebuild your intake forms: from Starter, upload your current form as a PDF and AI drafts it.
- Invite clients to the portal, each in their own language.
- Connect Google Calendar and your Stripe account, so bookings and payments arrive in one place.
Nutrinomist vs spreadsheets: questions
Is Nutrinomist free?
The Free plan covers up to 5 active clients, counted over a rolling 30 days, with your personal page, forms, the calendar and Stripe payments, and needs no credit card. The client portal and chat start on Starter, at €29 a month, or €23 a month billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial.
Do I have to move all my clients at once?
No. Most practitioners start with new clients and invite the others as they rebook. Clients you haven't worked with for 30 days don't count towards your plan.
Can I bring my existing forms?
Yes. From Starter, upload a PDF of a form you already use and AI turns it into a live form you can edit. On Free, you build forms from templates.
Do my clients need to install anything?
No. The portal works in a web browser, and clients join video calls from a link. From Starter, they can also use the iPhone, Android or web app.
